The properties
Mandarin, together with grapefruit and citron , belongs to the trio of citrus fruits from which all the others derive. Thanks to its mineral salts such as calcium, potassium, zinc, copper, iron, bromine and magnesium, it is the ideal fruit for strengthening the immune system , performing a sedative action on the nervous system and effectively stimulating diuresis.
In addition, it contains large amounts of vitamins A, C, B and P, which effectively stimulate diuresis. Its pulp is a mine of beneficial substances thanks to the presence of amino acids such as tryptophan, alanine, arginine, glycine, leucine, histidine and methionine.
Beauty tip for facial blemishes : Mandarin extract inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of melanin. By decreasing the production of melanin, blemishes are reduced and the skin appears clearer. To achieve this result, simply combine two drops of essential oil of the ingredient mentioned with a spoonful of peach oil and apply morning and evening to the face with a gentle massage.
